My paintings, prints, and book, A Pirate's Tale, are now available at the Gallery on Main in Lacombe, Alberta. I participated in the gallery's Fall Extravaganza in which over 80 artists were showcased. I attended all three days, and met many fine Alberta artists and made some new friends. The gallery sold on of my heavy textured mountainscapes and all the books we had on hand. The Gallery on Main has an amazing collection of superb paintings in acrylics, aquarelles and oils and is worth a visit when stopping in one of Alberta's heritage towns; where the buildings of our province's history are still standing proudly proclaiming Lacombe's success.
A very nice full page article regarding me and the book, A Pirate's Tale, was published in the Red Deer Advocate on Sunday, October 20, 2008. Albeit the article was well written and certainly an excellent advertisement for my book, there were several errors in the text. Hence I wrote a rebuttal the following day and dropped it off this morning, October 21st. The rebuttal is published on my opinions page. To read the Advocate Article click here.
Although the article, mentioned above, was well written, there were a few inaccuracies. Hence, I wrote a clarification letter which was published almost verbatim. The only thing the editors did not include was, 'Aargh, Mateys!' at the end of the letter. The letter was published in the Red Deer Advocate on October 28, 2009 and can be read here.

Sales of A Pirate's Tale are doing very well locally. I sold over 60 copies in a week, with another 100 on the way from Publish America. I will likely sell those in a week, as well. Alas the price has gone up by $5.00 because of the phony manipulation of the Canadian dollar by banksters who should all be hung for their crimes against humanity.

ANNOUNCING NEW WEBSITE

I am happy to announce that, apiratestale.com is now up and ready to receive visitors.

I recently donated a beautiful 17 x 22 inch print, 'The Truth is Out There and Within' to the women's crisis center. The picture was beautifully framed behind glass in a gold coloured metal frame. The picture was presented as a prize at a womens' only evening of food, music, and fellowship on November 01.

I also donated a copy of A Pirate's Tale to the S.P.C.A. for one of their fund raisers.
